UbiCOMP Engineering Club actively participates in organising summer events concerning HCI-related topics.
Lodz Summer School on Methods in HCI, 7-14th July 2017
Co-organised by University of Stuttgart and Lodz University of Technology, the international summer school discussed the variety of tools and methods available for research in the HCIO field. Leading figures in the area gave practice-oriented course that presented an overview of methodological diversity. The school was attended by 35 students from all around the world.

BEST Summer Course on Internet of Things – Connect’em all
Organised collaboratively by BEST Lodz Univ. of Technology and UbiCOMP Engineering Club, the international summer school discussed the recent novelties in the field of ambient intelligence and ubiquitous. Participants from all around Europe participated in number of workshops introducing to designing, constructing and applying useful devices into Internet of Things networks. Classes were taught by lecturers and students collaborating with UbiCOMP.
