Design Thinking and Mobile Application Prototyping Workshops – Łódź IT Days
On November 20th and 21st, Łódź IT Days took place . On this occasion, the leader of our student club along with fellow researchers conducted workshops for high school students in application prototyping and design thinking. Students took part in classes and acquired new skills that will certainly be useful on their further development path. Brainstorming session for 2019/2020
All the members met up in order to discuss new projects for the upcoming term. As a students club community, we put high value on openness and creativity. We held a brainstorming session to come up with innovative and interesting ideas that we could work on during the winter semester. Eventually, we came up with a handful of fun and exciting concepts that later on will be transformed into full – fledged research projects.
Honourable mention at CHI 2019
We are proud to announce that Julia Dominiak, researcher and lab supervisor at UbiCOMP Research Group has received honourable mention at The ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems 2019 for her research on Improving Directional Perception for Swimmers.
