Arduino Workshops
UbiCOMP invited a group of high school students to Arduino workshop. During the meeting, students had a chance to play and learn with popular Arduino microcontroller and basic electronic components.
First, we explained the basics of Arduino construction, functioning and capabilities. Then, we helped everyone to build an easy circuit to control the LED diode. At the end, we encourage everyone to play and learn.
They had a lot of fun playing songs with a buzzer and flashing LED lights. Such beginner workshop is a good opportunity to start the adventure with electronics which brings many benefits in future career.

Digital Jewellery Design Workshop
Ania has recently started her research on digital jewellery. To explore the topic, she organised a digital jewellery design workshop attended by artists, practitioners and jewellery enthusiasts.
Participants came up with amazing ideas. What’s even more important – it looked like they were having a really good time creating them. The workshops took place twice. It took approximately 4h each with a lunch break. At the end, everyone got a dinosaur sticker!
